Final Fantasy XIII

Okay I finally got my hands on my copy like 2 days ago and I have to say it's definitely not your normal final fantasy. The Gameplay is different for this one just like square promotes every final fantasy. The battle system is more like if the classic final fantasy married the kingdom hearts battle system and this happens to be it's baby. I personally got use to it very quickly. They brought in other elements as well like if your character dies in battle you're done. GAME OVER. FIN. FINISHED. The chaining it pretty easy and stopping the chain is easy to just a simple press of the triangle button. You also have the battle with Guardian Forces/Aeons/Endolins which bring a whole different experience you have to rely on strategy and not just hack and slash. You have a time limit on the battle(They cast doom). Once time starts the Gestalt meter shows and this is you primary objective. You have to fill it up before time ends and you have to press square. Failing to do so ends your battle you got to start all over again. >__<. The story is a big merge of FFVIII, FFX, and FFXII. Visually I don't know how square did it but its a masterpiece. The difference between cutscene and real time is very little. You have to be really looking at the detail to tell the difference. I won't say it's the best final fantasy but it's definitely the one that could have been only done on PS3. (I ignore Xbox because I'm sorry I hate RPGs on that damn console, being honest. Shoot me for all I care.) This game wins 9 out of 10.

Heavy Rain

First off this game wins on the holy crap factor!!! I never thought that a game like this would be so addicting. For those who have been under a rock in the gaming world. Heavy Rain is a cinematic experience made only for PS3. You go tracking do a killer who is kidnapping kids and putting the fathers through deadly tests to get them back. The thing is you have to get the trials done before the 6 inches of rain if you don't well your kid dies. You have complete control of the story as soon as your allowed to play. You control 4 characters Ethan who is the father of the current victim of the origami killer, Madison who's a journalist who finds herself being wrapped in the origami case when she meets Ethan. Jayden the FBI profiler who is sent to work on the case of the origami killer. Shelby the ex cop turned private dectective who's working for the families of the origami killer to catch him. Now I'll tell you now one of the four characters is the killer. No matter how you play the game they will always be the killer. Secondly you can control this game how ever you want it. You can kill everyone and the let the killer roam free or You can save the kid and be the hero. You have a possible 22 endings to get. I love thrillers and murder mysteries. This just made my week month and possibly year. I found out who the killer was after collecting 32% of the trophies. ^__^. I don't want to spoil the game so I won't say who it is. XP. I know there are people who don't want to get spoiled and have been avoiding forums so there. It's an amazing game all in all. RECOMMENDED for any ps3 owner. GO GET IT NOW!!! lol
