Hey friend! :) It's really nice to have a visitors counter on the page - I see that ca 30 people already glanced at the story. And one commented/friended - A GIRL FROM RIGA WHO READS DEAN/KRYCEK! Good things DO happen! :)
I really liked how you made Castiel seem menacing and pretty inhuman or should I say not with the greatest understanding of human nature or Dean's at least Oh, Im SO REDEEMED! Because that's what was bugging ME reading some D/Castiel fics: that Castiel suddenly uses slang like Dean...Or like Ruby/other demons. Ok, *even* if he has a darker agenda/maybe he's not an angel, clearly he IS A BEING OF SOME HIGHER POWER, so I must show it, first of all - through the language (and after listening to him talk on the show). Maybe he changes the manner later - I will change it too then
( ... )
Wow. Thank you. This was exactly my purpose - to write a scary, a bit on the psychotic side angel(?) who is NOT much different from a demon in his manners. Life won't be a box of chocolates for Dean being guided by such hand. ;)
Oooo, I liked!!! This is the first (and only) Castiel story I've read so far, but as it was following on from the end of 401, I figured what the hell...!
And I'm glad i did!
My favourite line: Either Castiel had an issue with his wings, or angels did not have a funny bone. Dean bet he wouldn’t get the joke about perky nipples either.
I've read half a dozen Castiel snippets that are out there, and took seriously just one. So I HAD to write my own version. That's what usually happens when I can't find among the fics some plot development/character portrayal I yearn to see.
Heh. Others noted on that line about the absence of funny bone.
THANKS A LOT! Every fb is a golden coin I treasure. ;)
Dean came around, knees buckling, cradled in Castiel’s arms, spitting rough, panicky coughs. His face was tucked into Castiel’s loose shirt collar. The other man’s pulse was sluggish, yet palpable against Dean’s forehead. --- LOVED THIS.
