Imo Firenze is more beautiful than Rome, cleaner too, and people is better behaved :P

Just a thing, Palazzo Vecchio, not Veccio :) Have you seen Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge)? That's pretty awesome, and ice cream around that zone is magical.

Ack, Ive been there only 5 hrs, havent seen anything than a part of the old town. :( Next time I go, Id book three days! (Hopefully it wotn take a decade before the next trip).

Icecream in Rome was MUCH better and lot cheaper than *italian icecream* they try to sell here. Then Id take the local one over it, any time.

All in all, I enjoyed catering offer in Rome than in Spain. When we didnt cook ourselves, we'd spend 30-35 EUR for dinner with wine and it was GOOD!

Ice cream is really good here in Italy, I've never found it anywhere as good as here. Same goes for food in general...in Paris too we were suffering because we were missing our good stuff :)
And yeah, it's not even all that expensive, even in the Centre...both Rome and Firenze are wonderful cities but you don't have to sell a kidney to stay in there for a week!
I'm happy you liked my country, it makes me feel proud :D
