I haven't been around lj much. So much has happened to make my life complicated. A while back my appendix burst ended up in the hospital. Took a long while to heal and get my energy back. Oh my. So sorry you are going through a rough time. I am glad you have been able to spend time with your Mom. I know it is so hard to see them fade but still it is so important that you have this time with her.

I hope things go better for you and your family. So glad you updated.

What a lot of stuff on your plate. So sorry to hear what a difficult time you had
and that your mom is not doing well. That has to be so upsetting to you. (Been there and I understand.)

Sorry to read that you've been going through such a rough time. Hope you have a much healthier time ahead. I totally understand the part about parenting your parent. My mom has been getting much worse. She's been in and out of the hospital a lot lately--in now and failing. She just keeps wanting to come home, but not getting strong enough for that to happen yet. She made it home for four days and required constant nursing, which is tough leaving the office that long but no other choice.

Sandwich generation--no picnic.

Hope you get a chance to do something fun with Mark and the kids for your birthday this week. The grandkids must be getting big.

I wondered how you were doing, especially re getting back to work!

Sam comes home on Monday after another trip to England and his Mum, there is no easy answer to any of it. We just have to do the best we can.

I am in awe of you posting from your phone!! I wouldn't have a clue how to do that.:))
