Hey all. I realized it had been a while. I left those who were interested hanging about my surgery. I did see the ortho guy. Good guy. Liked him very much. Got to see my x-rays. Ugh. I have no cartilage in my left hip, bad. Definitely bone on bone. No wonder it hurts sooo much. I headed home with the words hip replacement ringing in my ears. I hear

Good luck with the surgery. I know people who have had very good luck with it. :)

And the store? AWESOME idea!! Wow!! \o/ *does a little dance of happiness*

The insurance issue? Don't sweat it. You're entitled to those benefits so don't feel guilty for using them.

Haven't been posting much myself...RL health etc. gets in the way at times!

I know a few who have had the surgery, all with really good results.

The store sounds like a great idea, and something to look forward to.

I really hope it all works out for you, and do not worry about the Target insurance. You worked for them when you wore that cartilage out, so let them pay for it. *hugs*

You'll be so, so pleased with the surgery's end result, Cindy! It'll change your life in many good ways--it sure changed mine! I was working at the time, just as you were, and it was daily agony. Afterwards? I could walk again! So hang in there and look for your good outcome. And it's so good to hear from you, hon! ♥
