I know how difficult it can be adjusting to this. My Mum is 91 and her short term memory is gone. I can tell her something and five minutes later she asks me the same question. I got her to move in with me a few years back and it has been hard for her to accept the changes. But we all (my brothers, Mum and me) sat down and talked and Mum agreed that she needed to give me her financial power of attorney.
