Hi - it's good to see you back and finished with your hip surgery. I hope you have the results you wanted and no more pain, especially when you're on your feet.

It's so difficult to see our parents get older and frail. Your mom is very lucky that you and Mark are so caring and are there for her. For sure, though, you also have to take care of yourself.

Are you in touch with the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or a local hospital to see what is offered for respite care and family support groups? There might be help in addition to the woman who comes in when you work.

Hugs,
buzzie

I am pain free as far as my hips go. Arthritis in my feet makes being on my feet not so fun after 8 hours. Can't win lol
Taking in my Mom was all we could do. I told her the only other option would be a refrigerator box in the alley. That might be frowned on.
Hugs back

I laughed when I read this. Am I a terrible person? :))

*hugs you* It's definitely been much too long. :) Taking care of your mom is a wonderful thing -- but remember to take care of yourself too.

Glad to see you on here. I'm glad that you were able to take care of your Mom. I know how tough that can be but at least you can keep her close.

Take time for yourself. So says the person who works non stop and never gets a day off. Do as I say not as I do.
Hugs

Hi, Cindy! It's so good to see you 'round these parts. Some of us are still here, still doing our thing, and it's always nice to see a friend. ♥
