OK, so maybe while the fire burns I'll put a little time into a project for work.

1. Create mold of the lower portion of a Canon XTi battery grip.

Check!

2. Make a plastic casting of the battery grip. Drill and tap the tripod mount, and screw in a tripod socket extender. Start marking possible Camera Armor ID.

Hey - I've got some things that need welded together, would you be interested in making a small amount of cash in exchange for attaching some ray-gun parts to each other? I'm in no hurry and can wait for whenever it is convenient to you (I know you are working a million hours a week right now).

I could do a little welding.
-depending on the type of metal. If you've got an extra piece, or part I can do a couple test-welds with, that would help. As for "when", I have been trying to work on fun projects on the weekends. I think this would fit into that category.
