Context: Long discussion about feminism, sexism. Topic brought up: Why is it socially acceptable for women to wear pants, but not for men to wear skirts. The point I am trying to make: There's not much interest in changing this, so it's probably going to stay that way for a long time.

My sister's housemate is a man who wears skirts. He's also a Swedish Covenant minister, a goth, and great person.

And, damn, he has good legs.

You know, this is fascinating. Everybody woman I've been discussing this with replies with more or less "Actually, I know this guy who wears skirts - and I envy his legs"

Maybe skirts for men are more common than I thought... I still think my boss would object, though ;)

People are stupid. At least the Goths have it right. They wear whatever the hell they feel like much of the time. My ex-husband owned more skirts than I do and wore them to Neo regularly.
