Janey Died

On 26 March, easter weekend, one of our cats died, Janey. Losing any of our cats is hard but Janey's been the hardest. Everybody has a once in a lifetime pet and Janey was mine. Here it is over a month later and I'm still crying about her. We were having band practice that weekend so didn't pick up her body until Sunday, then fell apart. Here'

I am sorry to here that. My cat was dying a few months ago... we were able to figure things out and save her, but it was much more difficult than I could have anticipated.

Janey was a great cat. :)

Sara here. I just found your blog and this entry is perhaps the most moving. Having experienced 4th of July fireworks at the Dauphine I'll agree that all you said was factually accurate, but my take is different. I thought they were lovely. :)
Janey was, also, and now you got me missing her. It's not often that a cat has the opportunity to enrich as many lives as Janey did. By opening the Dauphine doors, you gave her that opportunity. Thank you.
