Sticking my neck out

I had surgery on 18 November 2009 - surgeons at GW hospital removed two discs from my cervical spine (neck) and replaced them with spacers of metal and bone fragments to encourage the three vertebrae to grow together. I'm glad I've been able to chat with you a time or two through G-chat, and I'm really glad things are working out well. I wish you didn't live up in MD so it would have been easier for me to come by.

Welcome back, Sunshine. I can imagine how awful that was. Although all sounds nominal, until you caught a cold. OMG I can't imagine that on top of the surgery. You really pushed through the pain. Not the cervical vertebrae, per se...but to be walking three miles while recovering from a cold? When I have a cold I get exhausted walking to my CAR ( ... )
