I walked into work today and noticed that my fishbowl had been moved to its original shelf space, and there was water in there. I looked closer and saw a little fella hiding in the plastic tree, my coworker had gotten me another albino beta fish to replace my beloved Edgar. I don't know if it's too soon or what, but here we are. It's going to take

I've been pet-less for about a year...for the first time in my life...and it still sucks every damn day. I've had animals around me for as long as I can remember and we peaked at 14 dogs and 1 rabbit at one point (yay puppies being born!). Last year on Valentine's Day we had Suki (our 14 year old mutt who couldn' t have been a better, more amazing dog) put to sleep because honestly, it was the best thing to do....she couldn't see, had no teeth, had tumors in her back legs, etc.

All I do is look at pets now and say how cute they are. I'm like one of those women who look at babies with adoring eyes because they want to have one. Except I do it with dogs, hamsters, cats, and basically anything with fur.
