It's me! I'm an oak tree!

"The strongest oak tree of the forest is not the one that is protected from the storm and hidden from the sun. It's the one that stands in the open where it is compelled to struggle for its existence against the winds and rains and the scorching sun ( Read more... )

oh yes.. I am sure.. I use to study trees in college and have actually talked to the Buckeye trees here on campus... they are very friendly till you piss them off then they raise their branches and pound you with buckeyes.. shit.. I had such troubles that Brutas had to come and talk to them... I just told the one tree he acted gay and shit .... I get all kinds of crap from them...Ohhh... the ducks are pissed too.. they said you did not feed them the orther day so they found out I am your friend and marched their little ducks asses in the building and bitched.. I said go sit your ass on the fountain and chill... the one black and white duck said he enjoyed the fountain on his ass and I asked him if he was gay.. he said yes and damn proud of it! He asked if I would take him to Axis and I said.. hell NO! if you want to go talk to your little buddy Mike... they are still here trying to get my Buck ID to get some food at the cafeteria... I agreed to take the gay duck, but the str8's need to bug someone else on this floor. the one lab tech ( ... )

Ues it does, but not over what Brye says, lol!

Sound is defined by the disturbance of a wave through a medium. the vibration or air or water molecules obtained as something of a higher density passes through it.

Therefore as the tree travels through the air it would have to make a noise in addition to the sound made as it struck other objects etc.

True, but it can't get more technical than the ducks. They are highly sophisticated wonderful little sex machines, mallards are. Did I just end a sentance in a preposition? I'm feeling a little wild and whacky today. If this energy keeps it up, I may even use more run-on sentances and speak in nothing but superlatives for the rest of the day!

Good Lord I think I'm developing a headace. Both Brian and yourself sheding such insight and enlightenment may possibly be too much for my small brain to handle...I think I will ponder and get back to you on this. Any insight on the speed of sound coinciding with topless bars in Amsterdam?
