6 cups chicken stock or broth 1 lb pound spicy Italian sausage 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/2 teaspoon salt 5 or 6 medium russet potatos (to taste)1/4 teaspoon crushed redpepper flakes 4 cups chopped kale(seems like alot, but will cook down) remove stems and chop leaves
Directions
1. Combine the stock and cream in a saucepan over medium heat. 2. Slice the unpeeled potato into ¼ -inch slices, then quarter the slices and add them to the soup. 3. Add the kale 4. Grill or sauté the sausage. When cooked and cooled, cut the sausage at an angle into sliced about ½ -inch thick. Add the sausage to the soup. 5. Add the spices and let the soup simmer for about 2 hours. Stir occasionally
I remember, "back in the day" when I had a full drum kit (meaning withdouble-kick pedals, full stock of cymbals, 7 silver-finish pieces of wood and mylar), playing along to "Trapped Under Ice," "Ride the Lightning," "Damage Inc," and "Dyer's Eve" (or whatever the last track on ...Justice was called). If it were "slammin' beats" you wanted, I was the man.
