I absolutely savor the early mornings. Coffee in hand, watching all the world wake up...

The sun hasn't completely risen, and the whole world is tinged with a pale pink light..

That time before anyone wakes up to disturb you, the alone time. I live for it!

Odd, I'd figured the kids were already awake at this point.

And it's much nicer to wake up in the mornings in the spring and summer when it's not all overcast.

this morning, I stood in front of my window in the living room and almost wept from the beauty of it!

Happened around 5:30-6:00. Kids were still asleep then, they regenerate themselves around 6:30.

Summer and spring are nice, but this morning it was just..... moving...

My morning began with the rumble and crunch of a small scoop-shovel (kind of like a small backhoe, only in the front) tearing the front lawn to oblivion. It looks like a disaster. I stared in disbelief as the escrow trump card is about to come out again. The bathroom plumbing is in desperate need of attention, and they're doing more cosmetic work..

I think they know I'm getting out of this dump when the lease is up, so they're letting things go to hell. I wonder if I should also bring in the code specialist?
