So we left at two and got to Orlando around four-thirty. We ate and then spent half an hour to forty minutes attempting to find the House of Blues, getting lost only breifly in Animal Kingdom. We were pretty close to the front of the line, standing amongst a lot of boys dressed in all black with white ties, belts, and patent leather shoes, and girls in little boys t-shirts. There was a goregous couple standing behind me speaking to each other in Swedish. We waited for an hour or so and they finally let us in, of course they stopped and searched everyone for anything. The lady took my sharpie away. I hadn't even realized it was in my purse. We went in and the floor got crowded very quickly. We sat, with a perfect view of the stage. Then came more waiting, and an open act called the Deadly Snakes or something of the sort. More waiting and then The Rogger Sisters (?) played. I really enjoyed them, the bassist was so energetic. While we were waiting for the Hives to begin I went and bought myself a t-shirt. After a while the Hives finally came out to play. And oh, my, lord they were so wonderful. Pelle definatley knows how to work the crowd. At one point he was singing and said "This is me singing, applaud" and everyone did. They ate it up. He was so great. He danced, he sang, and he howled. He was standing on a barricade on the floor in front of the stage when he either fell off or was pulled into the crowd. He could barely get back up because people, girls and boys alike, wouldn't let go of him. He played it cool even when his mikestand did a stagedive. Nicholaus Arson was also impressive. Just as enetrgetic as Pelle. I was so excited when they did "Die, All Right". During "Diabolic Scheme" they all froze for a good couple of minutes. I think they could have stayed that way forever. They ended up their set with "AKA I-D-I-O-T". It was really great.
