So let's see... today I had to get a background check done so I could rent a handgun for the film. A replica wouldn't do, oh no... apparently they are shooting extreme close-ups of the gun and the replica we had looked too fake, so I was commissioned to pick up the real one. You renting a handgun? Hilarious. I probably would have handed it to them squeamishly at arm's length and between my thumb and forefinger.

Um, at least they care about the second meal/overtime penalties? I didn't think it was a union shoot.

I hate "one more time" syndrome. It always goes like this:

"Ok, guys, that was great. Let's do one more take, and then we'll break. Ok, and...action! (someone messes up) Cut! Ok, let's do that again..."

Rinse and repeat.

Today I saw a guy with a long white beard and a fishing hat on sitting in a parked, decrepit old car with a parrot walking around on the steering wheel. The only way it could have possibly been better is if the guy was smoking a pipe.

Or if the car were a pirate ship on wheels. Or if the car was a pirate ship without wheels, and you were also on a ship, and that ship was also a pirate ship, and the pirate ship was extremely yellow with the Chicken Extreme! logo on the flag.
