What I used to be will pass away and then you'll see

I’m floating in a black balloon
I must make it through this afternoon
Shame-shifting shadow
Down drifting way out of town

And all you ladies and you gentleman
Unhappy where you could have been
Drive people like you drive a car
Until you don't know where you are

You don't impress me
I'm sorry that you're chained to the ground
But no big brother is going to ( Read more... )

Train trips are so boring ^^; But try to have fun once you finally reach your destination.

I tried calling you earlier, but you weren't there, I suppose. Do you still have my phone number?

Also-- there's a highway behind my apartment (well, beyond the field) that runs directly to St. Louis from here. If you ever feel adventurous, you should swing by. Of course, once I get my own apartment in September (if everything works out), you should come visit anyway :D

Yes I have the same number, I don’t recall seeing your number as missed, though I think my phone just doesn’t like to ring.
Is it just a highway or do you have Amtrak around there?
I would drive out if I could, actually I’d rather drive than take the train.
Not to make an excuses, or so I have been told.
Though I already took off a handful of days for this trip, and I don’t plan on taking days off anytime soon. But I’m sure next time I do take off days maybe I can figure something out. I’m just uber poor and plus for this train its going to be $50+ round trip, i have that to pay off as well.

And by the way that apartment idea is good, your room mates are insane.
but i have to dash or i will be late for work. bye bye

Bah, I hate cellphones T_T

The highway is closest, but I think the nearest bus and/or train station is in Lexington, which is about a half-hour drive north of me. I truly live in the boonies >_x I would just move to Lexington, but this town has an interesting college a couple blocks away, so I'm staying in case I decide to take some classes.

I didn't mean to sound pushy either ^^; Whenever you can get the time off is fine. With proper time and planning, I could help pay for your trip, no matter which travel method you decide to take.

Yeah...I don't regret moving in with the first roommate, but the other one drives me insane. I've lost track of the number of times I've felt the urge to punch her in the mouth. One of these days, my fist is going to slip >_>
