My street is suddenly zoned!

Zoning signs have appeared on my street- it is now Zone Y. I've known this was in the works, but I expected the permission sticker to arrive before the signs. Apparently that's not how it works

Ours is 21 bucks a year for the permit and the guest pass. Since I use the back yard to park in, there is no real issue with parking unless I want to park in front of my house and the morons from across the street who have 5 cars in their household have taken a spot.

Ours is $21 a year too -- Joel must have misread that badly-photocopied announcement letter.

What!? $20 per year! That's an outrage!

Seriously, though, the flier makes it sound like our first 'year' runs from now 'til July. Have you heard anything about that?
