[ Was that what home had looked like after the battle?
Kakashi doesn't know. Couldn't possibly. It's strange seeing it through her eyes. Feeling what it's like to be Sakura. It's pretty different from what he would've imagined. Then again he's not sure what he would've imagined to begin with.
His expression is somewhat soft because he can see how upset Sakura is. ]
Sakura...
[ He doesn't ask her if she's okay because she's clearly not. And he doesn't tell her it was just a dream, because she already knows. He might reassure her later on, but for now --
For now, he'll just give her the comfort of a familiar voice.
[ She doesn't want to deal with anyone right now. She isn't proud of this weakness, and she doesn't want anyone to see it, especially not people she respects. Her enemies are one thing. Her friends... are intolerable. ]
[He's very confused about this. He certainly doesn't remember using his secret technique against the brat, or stabbing her, for that matter. She had killed him with that punch, hadn't she? When exactly...?
"It's rather the malleability of human minds which is the problem, it seems. Human minds are more malleable, and so a human will lose their memories even faster than a youkai."If he still had a stomach, he'd be feeling sick right about now. No, it can't possibly be that already, can it

[It's breathtaking, really. The similarity of it. The intensity. Looking at the one you love and seeing a killer. Konan puts down the Hitomi, almost queasy. Picks it back up again. There is nothing to say. She is forbidden to speak regardless.
But she remembers a time when she too watched her lover twist in agony and his body explode in thick spikes, his eyes turn wildly...
She wasn't much older than Sakura, really.
No empathy with the enemy, she thinks. No empathy. No. It's the way Sakura felt in the shattered pieces of her home. Holding herself together by not thinking. It's too close. Too painful. Konan throws the Hitomi across the room. Anyway. She can't speak.]

[Sasuke thinks, I need to stop watching these things. He doesn't watch them all that often. Sometimes he will read comment pages without bothering to watch a dream. Sometimes he can tell a lot of what happened in it just by watching. Other times he can't, but is able to figure out that he doesn't care

It's fine, Kakashi-sensei.
[ It is very obviously not. ]

[ Her smile is very, very fake. She's lying, and she's not hiding it very well. ]

[ Fighting makes things better. Takes your mind off things! He's so red in the face. Not used to trying to help people out at all. ]
