[Voice Post -- Filtered to Naruto and Sasuke]

[Sakura's voice is panicked and rushed, and she clearly doesn't have all of her thoughts in order.]

Kakashi-sensei is alive. He had a dream. I don't know if you guys saw it, but he's... he's not dead.

Madara must have tricked us. He must have -- henge, it had to be. God, I'm so stupid.[A pause, and then she takes a deep breath

[A careful breath. Right. Okay. That's something to take in. More than what he knew and-]

I-- Talked to him, Sakura-chan. He kept hanging up on me, the stupid--

[Right. Stay on track. Kakashi is alive. Of course he is. He's just. Kind of fucked up. Still fixable. Hell, if Gaara pulled out of that massive funk he was in, then Kakashi can too. Right.

Right.]

He said he was a weapon. Said that telling him Konoha is his home was a ruse. Said--

[Ah. A pause as it sort of clicks. Madara-sama. Master.]

...M'gonna kill him.

[Though Naruto says it very, very softly and mostly under his breath, it is not impossible to hear.

A brief, tense silence. Then, louder.]

Memories are memories. He'll get 'em back. He’s Kakashi-sensei. We can’t waste any more time.

[We should have moved sooner. He does not say this. I should have moved sooner. I should have just snuck the hell out and gone looking for him instead of sitting here and wasting all this time and--]

[ground_breaker]

He doesn't remember us. That's why he keeps hanging up. He thinks we're... I don't know. He thinks we're the enemy.

[A pause, and then she continues in a firm, even tone:]

We need a plan, Naruto. And we'll have to talk to the Hokage. He's the only one who can let us out of the village.
