So, Teresa had her baby, Frederick Robin Ewers, yesterday by emergency C-section. He weighs 1 pound, 7 ounces. She is well, and the baby is doing the best he can. Thank you for your good thoughts.

Please send out good mojo for Teresa. She called me on Saturday and complained of swelling in her hands, feet, and legs. I told her to go right away to the doc, not to wait until her Monday appointment. They admitted her on Sunday with preeclampsia (which has progressed to eclampsis) and said she could go home in a couple days. Then, a couple ( Read more... )

I was at my primary care doctor, a young male physician, and while he had his stethoscope down the front of my shirt, he said, "Take a deep breast." It was all I could do not to blow out his eardrum with laughter.

I just received the most AWESOME birthday present...ever.
