one of the friends on my LJ is last year's "best of show" winner. she has two images in this year's show.

you mean 2007? There as no show last year. They took it off for reorganization. I know quite a few people who had work there, too. Most lived in Seattle at the time...LOL

i am pretty sure she was last year's winner. one of the observers of the jury, artwrangler, commented on her post and specifically talks about visioluxus being the BoS winner last year.

No SEAF last year. I think they invited certain artist for some other SEAF related event, but I remember everyone being sad about there not being a whole weekend of latex...lol

did you see the jury?? i knew there was gonna be problems right off the bat go and look at the galleries they are from. might set you at ease. I think SEAF has "jumped the Shark" and there was a SEAF last year it was just one night gala and the artists got to pick the work in the show. It was hastily thrown together but went well overall.. it grossed 50K in one night, Id be interested to know how much they do in sales with this Jury's selections.
