Day 1

First full day on my own.  I'm feeling pretty restless.  Not sure what to do with myself.  Usually weekends are the time when I can ask the hubs to watch him for a minute or two here or there and get some laundry done or a minute to myself.... Dagnabit.  My enter button isn't working.  Have to try this later, I guess.

It'll get easier, I promise. I've been through three 6-month deployments and the first week always sucks the most! Eventually you'll get into a routine and won't mind so much. =) Let me know if you need to talk!

I was surprised at my tears during our first Skype. He'd only been gone 24 hours!! The second time HE got a little choked up. That REALLY killed me.

We can do this! I know. Just sucks.
