The bathrooms had been crowded, and it had taken Jeff a few minutes to even get inside and take care of his business. But now, he was back outside, eyes darting around the room until they settled on the group of blazer-wearing boys across the room. A big grin crossed his face. There was something awesome about being with his friends, and especially his boyfriend, and to hell with McKinley's homophobia, he was going to be freaking proud of his boyfriend in this place...

That was until he spotted said boyfriend across the room, with his eyes locked in on some tall blonde who most decidedly wasn't Jeff. This particular blonde had a way better rack, and legs that wouldn't quit, and Jeff? Well, he was far less than pleased. He crossed the room quickly, long legs moving in quick strides until he was right beside Nick, who was staring directly at the girl's chest. With a forced smile, he cleared his throat and said, "Hey, Nicky, who's your new friend ( ... )

Sherri just gave a sort of screechy, irritating laugh that actually hurt Nick's ears, but her grip only just tightened around his arm in the presence of Jeff. "Is that, like, a gay thing?" she asked, giving Jeff a look of utter awe. "Oh, that's okay, honey! It doesn't even count if it's with the same sex, you know." She took a card from the confines of her purse and slipped her hand inside Nick's blazer to slide it into his breast pocket. Then she gave Nick's chest an affectionate pat, flashing him another grin with a wink. "Call me, cutie. Your little jacket with its little crest? Is driving me totally wild." And then she sauntered away, fanning herself with a little giggle, completely ignoring Jeff's presence.

Nick just put his hand up and scratched at his temple with his fingertip before he finally peered up at Jeff with a slight laugh. "Cream of McKinley's finest crop...?" he joked, but he could tell just from the look on Jeff's face that he was PISSED.

If eyes had the ability to turn into lazers with enough anger, Jeff was pretty sure the girl would be dead where she stood. It doesn't even count? What the hell was that supposed to mean? "Hell yes, it's a gay thing, and if you don't get lost, this gay thing is gonna be making you sorry you ever noticed his little jacket. You understand me?!" Still, the little bitch had her hands on Nick, and killing her sounded like a brilliant plan at the moment. "Take. Your. Hands. Off." He stated, biting off every word to make it abundantly clear that this was no joke to him.

Once the blonde was gone, Jeff's eyes were on Nick. "Oh, you think?" he asked, irritated as hell. "Well, maybe you'd like to sit next to her and her freakin' boobs instead of me at the show... How's that sound, Nick? I mean, hell, why would I care? It's not like it 'counts' or anything, is it?!"

Nick shot Jeff a look of half annoyance, half exasperation. Jeff had now caused a scene, and people nearby were looking. Nick looked around in embarrassment, his cheeks had flushed red, wishing the floor would open up and swallow him. It just had to be in a crowded room, didn't it? "Why are you yelling at me?" he finally asked snappily. "I didn't even say anything to her! You're acting like a mental case and people are staring!"

Not that he had room to judge. He had gotten his hackles up about Jeff with his own possessive streak in the past, but that hadn't been in front of a crowd and shrieking about boobs! And sure, he was annoyed about the gay comment, but this was McKinley, and it really wasn't where he wanted to make an issue of it. "Right now? It's sounds fucking awesome," he hissed.
