Civil unions are a start, but until gay marriage is legalized, gay couples with only civil unions are still only second-class citizens.

i dont think marrage should be a legal issue for ANYONE. If you want to be legally united with someone, you should be able to do that.

if you want to get married, thats between you, whoever your marrying, a preist, and God.

thats what im saying, i dont think the LAW should be able to tell anyone who they can / can't marry, THAT issue is between you and God.

oh, and for whoeverthis is' betterment, its often most polite to post your name so that the Lj's owner can identify you... mostly so they know if they should use the knowlage of your IP address in any criminal activity >:-!
