I feel like my life is uneventful enough that I have to wait a while to have enough [only slightly] interesting things for a decent-length post. Don't think I'm complaining though.

So...random highlights of the past week or so:

I saw Ani Difranco at Wolftrap. I guess that was kind of random, she's definitely not in the same genre as the majority of music that I listen to but whatever, I do like her. It was fun and I enjoyed it (techie side note - Wolftrap has a surprisingly good lighting system :P) however at times it was a bit too political-rally-ish for me. If you guys don't know her, she's very bohemian/folky/hippie/feminist and not that I necessarily disagree with her views, but I wanted to go to a concert, not a political rally. I'm guessing she was emphasizing the political stuff given the region (as in, DC). All in all though, I enjoyed it.

I read the 6th Harry Potter book. I felt that there was way too little action in the first 500 pages (I was getting rather bored) but I think the climax redeemed it. Not going to a lie, I teared up a bit. The very end was a bit too cliche-cheesy. All in all though, I liked it. I think the 3rd and 4th books are still the best.

I had dinner with Alex P and she told me something intriguing...way back during orientation my hall had a mixer with some guy hall, with whom we went on a ghost tour. And I spent pretty much the entire evening talking to this one guy (who, for the record, has an eyebrow ring haha), but only saw on campus maybe 5 times after that. And apparently he was at some birthday party Alex went to a couple of weeks ago, and he asked about me. Go me, I'm memorable after an entire year :D But don't get too excited, he's a bit of a badass.

Today was my last day at my internship. And it actually made me rather sad to go. They were a fun group of people. But they were absolutely awesome - they took me out for lunch, bought me a cake and gave me a thank-you check for $100! Considering that this was a non-paying internship, it took me by surprise and made me quite happy :)

I feel like I had other things to say, but I can no longer remember them.

This entry is quite blasé and mediocre. Probably not worth reading, after all. Oh well.
