i'm sorry! that's always tragic when something gets thrown out that you wanted to keep. i had this pair of pants in high school that i absolutely LOVED and i wore them all the time. they were totally worn out, holes everywhere, frayed, etc, but i kept wearing them anyway, until one day they came out of the laundry and my mom just ripped them all the way up the leg to make me throw them out. i was so sad.

p.s. i saw a target circular yesterday so i was flipping through it . . . do you know what i saw??? our magical 80 piece kitchen in a box for $26!!!!!!!!! i mean, damn. not that we really paid THAT much more for it, but how ridiculous is that price?

Heh "magical" is certainly a great adjective.

But hmmm - I hope this doesn't mean its secretely a really crappy kitchen set :(

yeah, i hope so too. i'm sure it'll at least hold up for the year, though it probably won't be a kitchen set we pass on to our children when they go to college. lol.

I didn't want to, but Fine. You had to ask for one.

"OH heavens No! Not your Lovely Black Cat Slippers! Why However can we go on?!? What shall we do? Call Peter jennings! Alert the media! Tell the Greek Plane crash victims that they'll have to settle for the second page, and Sri Lanka can deal with its Asassinations tommorrow- Poor Tala lost the BLACK CAT Slippers! What EVER Shall we do? Oh How Can We Go On!?!

I Guess we'll have to take it one day at a time without those slippers, and perhaps in a year, we'll create a memorial for them.... And We'll Never Forget Those slippers did not give their lives in vain. Never Forget, Tala, Never Forget! We'll prepare to invade your mother next week."
