At St. Mungos on bed rest.

I'm fine. Your son is impatient.

Cassiopeia?

*presses his lips to her forehead* You're-you're alright?

*nods her head* Yes, I'm fine.

*takes his hand* Early labor. Much too early. Victoire insists I stay on bed rest...for the remainder of the pregnancy. We can hire a healer for the island. It will be fine, Love.

*outwardly very calm*

That's right. Far too early. Sirius will be so proud - this is the baby's first grounding.

A healer? I think you should expect a half dozen.

It will be fine. Lily and I will keep each other company.

*not too long after getting the patronus and his other ahem activites have been taken care of*

Cass?

*peeks his head into the room, not wanting to interrupt if Draco is in there, or if she is resting*

*looks up from the magazine she is flipping through*

Hello, Sirius. Come on in.

*no one is around right now, and the healers are trying to give her some space as hormonal Cassie is quite temperamental*

I got the patronus. Obviously.

*makes his way into the room and sets the small arrangement of flowers on the bedside table*

How are things...other than the fact that the boy wants out much too soon?

*has a seat beside the bed and reaches for her hand*

*smiles at him*

Thank you for the flowers. They're lovely.

*squeezes his hand*

I'm fine. He's impatient, but he'll just have to wait a few more months. Bed rest will be a nuisance, but I'll deal. I want him to be healthy when he's born. How are you?
