So after not making it to my doctor appointment last week, I went in yesterday. Terry took me and then we chilled at Starbucks for 2 hours. I got swabbed for Group B Strep and then checked. There is nothing more annoying then sitting bare-bottomed on an exam table for 25 minutes waiting for the doctor to come in! But the good news out of the ( Read more... )

Yay for 3cm!

Boo for GM! BUT... at least it was fixable. Glad to hear things are well! :)

Have they told you how much she weights yet? Is she still going to be a big baby?

No, I don't really feel open, just a lot of pressure. The top of my pelvic area has gotten firmer and I can feel movement down there. Even seeing Becca only after 2 weeks, she could tell that my belly was lower. When I stand up from sitting for awhile, my Lady Bits hurt for a minute and I need Mark's hand for support. The contractions are just Braxton Hicks, which are the "practice" ones-they don't truly hurt, but they do stop me in what I'm doing for about 30 seconds. Sleeping is very hard now--constant turning over and belly tension. Now I will have to play the waiting game.

The only thing that slightly concerns my doctor is that my blood platelet count is low. That just means that clotting could be a little slower of a process, there could be extra bleeding during delivery, and I most likely cannot receive an epidural (which I was not planning on anyway). I got stabbed for it again today, and hopefully it will stay above the right number. Blood Power!!!
