[Meme] Appearance/Habits
Clothing/appearance:
A lot of this was already covered in the canon character profile but I guess it doesn't hurt to reiterate. Anyhoo, starting at the top, his hair is bleached! It was originally black, and probably that shiny thick texture of Asian hair that's hard to color. I assume this is a good bleach job though, and his hair's strong originally, so it's still pretty nice--not dry or anything. He has two piercings in his right ear, one piercing on his left; he has a red stud earring in each ear, and a silver hoop on the right.
\o/ BIG BROWN PUPPY EYES
Clothing-wise he likes T-shirts (short and long sleeved), hoodies, and hoodie-vests. Very comfy-style, low-maintenance clothing that's good to run around in. Also he's usually not wearing more than two layers. Most of his pants are cargo pants or cargo shorts, so he can put stuff in his pockets. Probably has all kinds of junk in them, like cool looking rocks and stuff. Colors are usually bright or light, leaning towards warm colors, and camouflage patterned. Other than that he wears his school uniform. Shoes are classic converse sneakers in bright gaudy colors. Occasionally, when he is anticipating the need to punch things, he'll be wearing black fingerless gloves.
Physically he looks pretty average, but... I dunno if you were to FEEL HIM UP or something you'd notice he's more muscular than he appears. :|a Like a lightweight boxer/endurance fighter. Not entirely hard muscle or anything, but he can definitely hit hard if he wants to.
Habits/mannerisms/body language:
It's either open and exuberant or closed and polite. Most of the time it's actually the latter. Around people he doesn't know he'll be kind of.. not formal exactly, but unobtrusive? LIKE... he's still cheerful and friendly and smiles a lot, but his body language is closed. He clenches his hands in front of him or at his chest--or if he's sitting, he'll often sit in seiza (formal kneel), knees together, with his hands on his knees. When he's nervous he may wring his hands or fiddle with his shirt or hunch his shoulders a bit or chew his lip. He moves his hands around a lot, rubs the back of his neck or sticks his hands in his pockets... Overall he's surprisingly meek. :|a You could say it's the body language of someone that expects to be hit a lot, even though generally he's also smiling and being friendly. S...so yeah, this sort of body-language is particularly prominent around Akira.
His body language opens up a bit when he's happy, excited, or comfortable. He does little fist-pumps when he's pleased or flaily arms if he's freaking out. If he's happy to see you he'll wave and go :D :D :D. If he's feeling comfortable he may take to hovering around really close to a person. His friendly cheerfulness gets more physical when he's comfortable, and he'll casually lean on people sometimes. Yeah, it's pretty damn easy to tell what Kengo's feeling. He broadcasts all his emotions, except when he's fighting. Even if he smiles to cover up feeling bad it's usually pretty obvious in his voice.
Oh, his bodylanguage is ALSO open when he's up to trouble, because he likes pranks. He gets all 'huhuhu' and grins evily and overall takes on more bravado. :|a this is usually quickly crushed when his pranks backfire and Aya kills him with her shinai/rusty-pipe/sword.
One of Kengo's habits is that he rarely refuses physical contact. HE REALLY LIKES APPROVAL, GUYS. And unless someone is actively trying to hurt him (who isn't Akira, who has free reign to violence him as much as he likes) or really freaking him out, he'll put up with most forms of touching for as long as the other person keeps it up. Mild forms of badtouch included. He may complain about it and flail a little but he won't push people off unless it gets really uncomfortable in some way. Though repeats of badtouch will be avoided and warded off if it gets to a point where he minds.
Current Residence: Boys' 13
Typical Daily Routine: He wakes up early to have a daily jog and boxes the air and stuff. Works out until he's sweating a bit and then goes take a shower. Then he'll go and do whatever seems interesting that day or whatever he promised someone he'd take care of. He tries to always have something to do. Around lunch time he'll grab some food from the mess hall and make his way to the library. Sometimes he'll go inside if the food he grabbed is packaged, but otherwise since Akira banned him from the library he'll circle around outside and like... tap the window if he sees Akira near one. He'll go inside if Akira ignores him. THEN THEY HAVE LUNCH \o/
After lunch he'll probably try to bug Akira into hanging out with him a bit. Sometimes he's successful, most times he's not. Most likely if they are hanging out the two of them go bother Kou a while and then either separate ways or maybe hang til it's dinner time. If Kengo isn't with Akira at dinner time he'll loiter outside the mess hall to wait for him to show up o/.
After dinner Kengo probably wanders around camp some more, mostly relaxing rather than running around busy and stuff, though right now he'll probably try to track down Kou again to see if he can help with anything. Then Kengo probably turns in fairly early to bed. He doesn't need too much sleep since he's healthy and exercises a lot, so he's up again early in the morning o/ A definite morning person.
Favourite Haunts: Nothing yet?
Does he make his own bed?: Not super neatly but he does pull the covers up and put the pillow where it belongs.
