I'm posting photos and stories out of order--just going where my whim takes me.
The photo ops with the boys took longer than usual because the boys were goofing around and having so much fun with all the photos. Fickleone and I were lucky to be in the photo room when several people in front of us had multiple photo tickets for J2. And most of them had props.
I swear the boys were having SO much fun--especially Jared. He was laughing so hard! I think he smiled and laughed so hard during those sessions that he wore out his smile for the J2 panel (more on that later.)

The J2 Photo Ops were one of the highlights of the con for me. I'm going to see if I can remember what we saw...
- One woman brought super soaker water guns. The boys eyes just lit up when they saw them. The guns were about 2 feet long and bright yellow and orange. The boys took them and did a few seconds of mock super soaker war between the two of them. After they posed with the woman (and a friend?) with the guns. The woman took the guns away because she had more props. Jensen poutted and whined that he wanted his gun back. The other props the woman and friend had where two black banners. One said "Dean Girl" and the other said "Bi Bro." After the ladies left, Jared turned to Jensen and said, "So that banner meant that Dean is a girl, right?" Jensen replied, "Right."
- We saw a few very petite and sweet Asian woman take their photos with the boys. One of them got Jared laughing so hard he almost fell to the floor. She spoke very little English, so she was trying to demonstrate how she wanted the boys to pose. The boys were not understanding, so they just started to strike elaborate poses--sticking arms and legs out in all directions and making funny faces. Finally she started to move the boys around and arrange them the way she wanted. She turned Jensen towards her and moved his arms so that they were in a circle in front of him. Then she turned Jared towards Jensen, put his arms in a circle and overlapped them with Jensen's. The boys were standing face-to-face with their arms out in front of them arranged in wide circles overlapping each other's arms. I wish I could explain that better. Then the woman ducked down and practically crawled on the floor--she was trying to insert herself in the circle of the boys arms so that she would be getting full hugs from both boys on either side of her. Once the boys understood what she was trying to do, they both cracked up and dropped their arms. Jared went into one of his full-body laughs and almost fell down. He stumbled, laughing, over to Clif and then back again. Once they all stopped laughing, the boys pulled her into a tight J2 sandwich hug for her photo. The girl was giggling the whole time.
- This may be the same girl or another, but one of the petite Asian women went to hug Jared as she was leaving and ended up rubbing her forehead against his chest. Jared cracked up and thought it was hilarious. After she left, he went over to Clif and micmicked the forehead-rubbing hug on Clif's chest. And then went over to Jensen and did the same. Once Jared calmed down, he said, "She was so sweet!"
- For both the J2 and the Jared photo ops we saw a group of women bring fake mustaches for the boys to wear for the poses. Jared's mustache kept falling off. And I THINK (I'm not totally positive), that after the J2 mustache pose, Jensen tried to stick his mustache just below his belt -- maybe it was on his belt -- he did it so fast and then quickly rethought what he was trying to do, smirked, and made some comment about that perhaps not being the best idea.
- During Jared's photo op, a few petite women asked Jared to hunch down so that they were closer to their height. Each time Jared made himself shorter, the women (in separate photo ops--they both did this)..... Each time Jared made himself a little shorter, the woman would also make herself shorter. So Jared and her would slowly start to inch their way closer to the floor until Jared cracked up laughing and they did it all over again.
Due to all the photo op shenanigans, the photo ops ran long and Creation ended up skipping the Jared Panel. So I'm going to pretend there WAS a Jared panel and post a bunch of Jared-only photos from the J2 Panel. I should be posting more about the J2 Panel next.
One additional note, I found this post about the J photo ops by rasah that I thought was wonderful (I added the bold):
"Tour itself was great but I'll get into details at some later date (I need SLEEP). One thing I really wanted to tell you though - my friend and I were talking to Russ about the con, asking him if he'd enjoyed it etc (he and some of the crew popped in on Saturday and Sunday), and for reasons I can't remember we mentioned to him that the photo ops lasted longer than usual this time and he told us that was because Jensen (and Jared too, but Jensen was apparently pretty strict about it) INSISTED on more time, mostly due to Asylum - where they felt the fans didn't get the experience they'd paid for. Apparently they both hated the speed the photo-ops in particular were done and have now put thier foot down. Apparently Jensen is now insisting (for the next Creation cons) they either sell fewer tickets or allow more time. It actually really showed in the photo-ops at this con - they were both being really friendly and taking the time to say hello and goodbye etc. And they were both a lot more relaxed than usual."
While I missed being able to see Jared alone. I didn't feel cheated. I'd never enjoyed J2 photo ops more. The boys were so relaxed and friendly. I really felt like they were showing their appreciation for the fans. More on this later in my comments about the J2 panel.
