I don't understand why people don't choose to euthanize in these cases. I don't want my pets suffering a second longer than they have to. And, as a bonus, I get to be by their sides as they pass.

Thank you. Like I said, it was weird since I had never seen the cat before. But it's always hard to see life leaving.

(Sometimes I hug one of my cats and cry because I love it so much. And because I probably have PTSD from previous pet deaths.)

Thank you Beario. Have you seen this new show I Cloned My Pet? People paying $100,000 to have the Koreans clone their pet. At first I was creeped out, but slowly admitted I would clone my Minky if I had 100 grand lying around. We never did get to see her as a full kitten.

But if you keep reproducing your old pets, how do you know there isn't a different cat somewhere out there who might be even better? Seems a foolish choice overall.
