Tery and I were unaffected by the Batman shootings, thank god (though the theater is 4 miles from our house and we heard the massive police response going by all night). Thanks to my friends who were worried about us. Now back to our regularly scheduled LiveJournal

Congratulations to Tery on finishing! That's a huge accomplishment! I'm training for a 5K (or... I was before my ankle decided it was actually an old man ankle), which is only 3 miles, and I'm still intimidated by that lol.

And congratulations to you on your acquisition of a very fine sexy cowgirl hat. :D

Tery thanks you! (she wanted me to make more of her race, put up pictures of her running her race. I told her to write her own damn blog and my friends didn't care about her. You have made a liar out of me!) "only 3 miles" LOL I can't run more than 3 minutes without saying "screw this noise." Props to her and to you! Even with your old man ankle (ROFL). I feel your pain, I recently suffered a horrendous knee injury that kept me off the bike (watch this space for more posts soon), and all I could think about was getting back on. KILLED me taking nearly two weeks off, but couldn't be avoided. Human frailty sux.

The 14th time?? That's incredible, because there are a few states that I'm happy to never go back to after only one visit. Maybe this guy needs to start drifting into other countries.
