I just finished my Renegade playthrough in Mass Effect 2. It was pretty fun! I guess technically it wasn't a true renegade run because I let the rachni queen live in ME, saved the council in ME, and destroyed the Collector Base in ME2. So I did end up still with more than 50% Paragon as well. I just can't be 100% renegade

I wish I could spare the money to buy a console. I'd love to play video games on something besides the computer XD

It all depends on your definition of Renegade.

On my playthrough I let the Rachni queen live to stick it to the council not because I was being nice.

And in ME2 I'd destroy the Collector Base because I wanted to stick it to the Illusive Man.

So I guess my version of Renegade is sticking it to authority and taking down 'The Man'.

I saved the Rachni queen the first time because it was the paragon option. But after playing 2, I think the rachni will come back in 3 to help you out, so that's why I save her each time.

But yeah, I do enjoy pissing off the Illusive Man, so destroying the collector base is more fun. Plus, if you have Miranda in your party, he orders her to stop me and I get to hear her blow him off too. He's like "I gave you an order!" and she's like "I noticed. Consider this my resignation."

Depending on what importance the council has in 3, I may eventually do a playthrough where I don't save them. They are pretty douchey.

Hmm. I might have to do that in my Renegade playthrough just to hear her say that. My Renegade party has been Shepard, Kasumi and Mornith. Not sure which of those I'd pull out. My paragon party for the final fight was Shepard, Tali and Jack. Shepard and Tali I used all the time, Jack was just in there 'cause in my mind that was the safest way to keep her alive through the mission.

As for saving the council my Renegade did that thinking 'now they'll owe me'.
