I hate NME. So much. They used to overhype my boys (The Vines, obvs), then started slagging them off, and now they're giving 'em positive feedback again. And why? Because they're nothing but a bunch of incredibly un-professional wankers who get a kick out of fucking with peoples heads. Ugh. I spit on NME.
I KNOW ARGH!! I really hated them for that, It really is quite digusting for them to totally slag them off, especially for Winning Days (which I liked) and declare it is the end of their band and musical careers. I hate them, and I bet they'll do the same with bloody Arctic Monkeys and all the other wanky bands they think of as the Next Big Thang!
I love the Feedback section; you see some real gems in there. *facepalm* Oh crap, they're going over to the emo side. Turn away from the evil forc --- wait a second, I'm trying to reason with the NME, it's already a lost cause. xD
Although I do like the art layout idea for this issue, I must say *is design nerd* Also, Shaun Ryder: YES! The Artic Monkeys are overhyped pimply wankers, but I will have to use both this icon and the following lyric of theirs to lead to this punchline, but damn, doesn't he look errr... good on the dancefloor? Okay, shoot me now. :D
Ooh me too, they make me LOL in an empty room ;) Ooh i also larve the arty thingies on the last page, specially the Mike Skinner and Karen O one, vv good. OMG, i love you for that icon, it's sew good... XD
Seriously the NME is so...argh! First of all the price here in the States is just off the wall! I have to say that the butt kissing then slagging off routine is so annoying. Also, I think that a lot of the albums that they call "the top British albums ever made" is exaggerating; its more like the most overhyped albums at the moment. But I do have to give them credit for sometimes having interesting articles, although the writing can be much much better.
I really agree with you. The price isn't toothough the writing can be much much better. Very True! It's nice to hear from you, I haven't seen you round in ages! Mainly my fault as I have been without a computer for some time. :D x
What scares me is how they describe fall out boy! "How four kids staged a punk rock revolution" yeah uh...NO! Yeah you have been gone for awhile! I'm glad you're back. :)
haha I know! *G* didn't the punk rock revolution happen 30 years ago? wankers. It's weird cause they are actually quite big, fucking frightening. ah yes! I'm glad i'm back aswel! I have missed you!

There are so many other bands that could be on the cover besides them.
At least they've never been on the cover of SPIn....yet.
