For starters, if I hear the phrase "Kissed by fire" once more, I'm going to punch ADWD in the face. I don't know exactly where its face is, but I assume it's somewhere on the front cover. What I notice more about those graphs is the dramatic shift of the "center of mass" down to like...2 chapters on average for the POVs instead of the much higher chapter count earlier in the series. Too many people, too little time to get invested with any of them. Serious pruning is needed!

I was seriously waiting for Jon to finally realize that maybe these superstitious backwards hill folk are superstitious backwards hill folk who talk out of their ass sometimes, when whatshername flipped out about Shireen being "unclean. UNCLEAN!!!" because she had childhood chicken pox (well, this universe's version of chicken pox, where in adults it kills the shit out of them but children are relatively unscathed in comparison), despite there being pretty much scads of evidence that it's not contagious when in children. Like maybe some kind of thoughts back to whatshername he was doing in Book 3 where he realized that maybe she was just as stupid and opinionated as any kneeler. But no she was his kissed by fire love of all time blah blah blah ( ... )

Sad. The irony is I had faith in Martin up til DWD and was looking forward to you guys eating humble pie when the big book turned out to be worth the wait.
