it's funny. usually failing a test isn't a big deal to college students. they're usually like "oh i'll make it up" or didn't care cause they were too busy partying or something. the thing about college is you can fail a few times and be alright. but i have a fear of failing. it's engraned into me and i have huge test anxiety that actually physically affects me... and i get really upset if i get below a B on a test! i freak out in fact. the first time i got a C on a paper i was convinced the teacher hated me and i was failing the class. i know how it is to be incredibly upset about these type of things...even though most people just laugh at me and make fun of me.
It wasn't a big deal to me in high school because we had so many other things that could make up the grade, like homework and whatnot. But I freak out about not doing well on college exams because those are pretty much the only things my grades are based on, so it puts more pressure to do well on them so I can do well in the course.
Even so, you can still bring up your grade. Seriously. Just talk to your prof, go over the exam with him and when the next one comes up, study until your brain cannot take it any longer (but don't forget to sleep. A lot of people forget that part)
Is it a d'Entremont? I got a D+ on a d'Entremont midterm once and got a B- in the class. All is not lost. Go see your professor and study like a mother.
