Sounds acceptable to me!

I remember doing something like this for a psychology class. We were given a list of people who were trapped in a nuclear fallout shelter. There were thirteen people in the shelter, and only enough supplies for twelve. We were supposed to decide who to let die.

I worked it so all thirteen survived. For some reason I got a bad grade on the assignment.
