The house looked the same as it always did.
Sally was an excellent housekeeper, not that she had to be, seeing as he was always willing to help her out, and it was obvious in how immaculate their home always looked. 'Then again', she thought, 'I've been trying for years...' She grinned and shrugged mentally. Sally had never given up on anything that she truly wanted...she wasn't about to start now.
"Dinner was really nice," she said cheerfully as she looked over at Linus. "I'm glad we went out tonight."

Linus caught her wistful glare and even though he groaned while doing it, he asked her if she wanted to ride on those boats. He just hoped she didn't want a picture or anything, because he would never live this down.
He just wanted today to work out perfectly. "So what do you say," he asked, leading her down to the dock. "Swans are...cool.."

As she sat down in the gently swaying boat, she wondered just what was going on with Linus. There was obviously something he was up to. Sally hoped he wouldn't make her wait too long to find out. Glancing around, she spotted one of the boat workers holding a camera and smiled brightly, patting Linus' arm. "Look! They'll take our picture! We can totally have it framed."

"How about not right now? I mean, maybe later and all but you know, let's enjoy the moment?"
Yes, he was rambling, but he had no idea what he was doing. "I just want to spend some time with you and not have to worry about a camera flash or anything."
