It's okay to imagine it really is as simple as "okay, I forgive you." It's alright to watch everyone else skip down the easy path while you drag the chains of guilt and shame because you don't want to cause distress, at least not today.

It's = It is. If you can say "it is" instead of "it's," put an apostrophe.

Its = posessive. This is like "its dog" or "its house" (excuse my random examples, this is what random bursts of energy suppliments do).

You used them correctly as far as I can tell!

Yep, your it's are fine. :) Remember the apostrophe is a place-holder for missing letters: it [i]s = it's, or can [no]t = can't.

Thanks! I think I always confuse the It's because an apostrophe shows ownership of proper nouns too. The apostrophe rule always annoyed me lol.
