Finally! 3-for-5 with 3 RBI. It feels good to contribute at the plate, and not just on the field, especially when they were doing articles and stuff on me and my slump. That's never good ( Read more... )

Did Todd really do that? Wouldn't be surprised. I was on his team briefly in 03, and while he was okay to me, he did fairly complain a lot. But yeah, I guess he totally pissed off some of the guys on our team last year over his comments during the playoffs. ESPN hired him as an analyst for the playoffs I guess...I was too nervous living in the moment and trying to breathe to notice...haha

I don't know for sure that he said anything, but I've heard it suggested. He's a great guy, a good player, there's no arguing with that.

And you know, I'm really happy where I am now, so I guess even if he did say something, it worked out OK in the end.

Sorry about the game last night - I hope you guys can pull it together this weekend.
