*Hugs* back.

I know Ash. Funny thing is, I dont have any pictures of the place, or even the city in general! Because I took it for granted that it will be around always! I mean it has been there for 1000s of years!! Sigh.

Have to take pictures when I go back.

That was hot. I understand that it might affected you personally more than wht you have posted. I hope you are ok.

I am not sure if you cant expect justice just bcas this is against a Hindu Temple. I dont think there have been any forth coming no matter which religion has been victimised... (Babri Masjid, Sikh Riots etc..) The inadequacy of a goverment shouldnt be equated with partisan indifference.

Its difficult to be a human these days....not necessarily a Hindu

I dont agree completely with that because history suggests otherwise. But what I will agree with is the fact that apathy and indifference are part of the set up and whatever good has happened to the country has happened inspite of the government.

I am much better now than I was in the morning when I first heard about this. Thanks for checking :-)

Ok, I was trying particularly hard to not comment, but gave in.

I tend to agree with sowmyar, but I think you both are stating valid points of different arguments.

I will not generalize as you have, or specialize wrt Hinduism. Yet, of course you are right in that there will always be cases when the majority will at some point feel like a minority - and I think it tends to cycle.

We've seen, experienced and handled it for ages, but other countries - USA seems to just be waking up to that phase as part of trying to deal with 'promoting diversity'. Something we have known forever. We do survive _despite_ everything.

And, yeah, we only wake up to events when they affect us personally.

I share your outrage.

These are uncertain times, these are the secular times.

Y is that such things happen.
Y is that humanity suffers like this
Y is that it affects us so much
Y is that the culprits go scotfree
