Is it okay to say, "Fuck off Forever" if one of your parents continually tells you they don't like your wife?  Just curious.

In the abstract/general case, there should probably be a round or two of reflection to see if, maybe, they have a point that one is overlooking.

Given what I know of your wife, the parent in question is off their rocker, and ... yeah. If you don't want to chase them off other than that, there might be a line to draw first, or maybe a useful conversation with someone else they might listen to?

Oof hun, that's not okay. You should absolutely stand by your AMAZING wife and let them know that she will be in your life regardless of what they think and if they can't deal with that then maybe they don't need to be a part of your life.

Seriously that is awful, but a conversation really needs to be had if it hasn't already.

Yeah, that's not okay, especially coming from them. Sorry this is happening. :-(

"It is fortunate then that you are not married to her. I AM. This is the last time you will bring it up. If you are unable to do so then we will not speak again until you can control your mouth." Then hang up, or leave the area.
