I went to NYC for a long weekend, and it was wonderful! Sucks to be back. Shannon and I had a wonderful time spending the weekend with Alison and Vida. I didn't want to leave. I had a great weekend here in Atlanta. Shannon came to town, and we did all sorts of things! Friday night, while waiting for Shannon to get here, I went to my cousin's fraternity gathering at a bar downtown. It was Tech's homecoming weekend, so everyone was in town. For the life of me, I can not wake up today. I've been at work for an hour and I'm just as sleepy as I was when I got here. Things are going well. I have the condo to myself for a week and a half. What's been going on with me? Well, I've been working. It's an office job. Right now I'm mainly doing help desk phone calls and emails. I really like the people and the job. But, I have an interview at a library in a couple weeks, so we'll see what comes out of that. That job will pay much more than this one, and it will be what I actually want to ( Read more... )

I was offered a job today, and I took it! It's at a small market research firm on Peachtree. I start on Monday. It doesn't pay well, but it seems like a very good job. And before too long, I will get benefits. I'm really looking forward to it.
