I saw this back on the TV when it was first run. I had read the books and thought it was "meh" I rather like the movies with Damon today better.. Even though they do not really follow the books as closely as this does... I could just never get Chamberlain as "Bourne"

Yeah, several negative reviews I read complained about Jaclyn Smith's bland acting and noted that there was some degree in which Chamberlain didn't seem to fit because he was playing down and seemed artificial in scenes with her (of which there are many).
