We've been mooned!

So I had my drs appt today and basically he said that I shouldn't be on my feet, in other words the whole working thing won't last long anyways. He's ordering me a back supporter thingy b/c apparently the reason that my back has been going numb is that the kid is laying on one of my nerves the wrong way. Hopefully it'll help at least a little bit. ( Read more... )

Well.. If you don't mind a squaking baby I'll go with ya :) Just thought I'd put that out there..

Sounds like you're not gonna be allowed to sleep on your back.. When you do that supposidly babies can lie on nerves and cut of circulation and make things all fubar/uncomfy.. And that's what the tell regualr pregant girlies, so I'm sure would be 10x as worse if you're having that problem standing up.

I've got faith in ya on cookin a turkey.. Which is kinda wierd cuz I thought you didn't like turkey.. Figured would be iron cheffin up something hammtastical :)

Hooray for your healthy baby....at least the baby has a well-formed butt. Well-formed butts are a good thing. Have a Happy Turkey Day!

Damn it, i just wrote you a long comment and it didn't post for some reason, some stupid error.

Shorter version:

Turkey: 1 hour for every 4 pounds at about 350 degrees.

It sucks that you didn't find out if it's a girl or boy!

Is someone going to be with you in the delivery room?

And finally, my midwives told me the same thing about sleeping on your back and the nerves thing. I had a harder time dealing with not being able to sleep on my stomach. A tip: the most comfortable way to sleep for me was on my side with a pillow in between my legs. I woke up in a lot less pain.

I got the temperature for the turkey and stuff down it was the seasoning that was a pain in the ass, hopefully it turns out ok.

I'm going out to Ohio for a baby shower sometime in January and then I'm going to bring my mom back with me just in case Jess can't make it back here to be in the delivery room with me, but I'm really hoping and praying that he can make it.

I'm going to have a hard time not sleeping on my tummy but I was told that when it gets to be a bad thing for the kid I'll be too big to do it anyways. I usually wake up perfectly fine with my back and all, it's just by the end of the day that everything is killing me.

I was cracking up last night b/c my little niece (she's 18) was like "it's a boy b/c if it were a girl she'd cover herself up with one hand or something and boys like to show their ass!" lol it was cute.

Hope u have a happy turkey day!
