last night I had delicious potluck italian dinner and watched the movie _Big Night_--and I highly reccommend it!

Shawn and I are stuck in Chicago O'Hare airport for 5 or so hours because we had to pee and haul ass to a different terminal. We missed boarding to SLC by less than 5 minutes.

So we had some drinks and food and now are bored.

At least it's not raining in Chicago.

today my mom and step dad visited. they treated me to lunch and we had a good time.
I am glad to have seen 'em and survived.

What a night to curl up on the couch with a book-- good thing I have a book and a couch and some beer.

Now if only I had a pug to cuddle.
