I was going to have just enough to scrape by for the next week or two when my brake lights went out. Seems simple, a fuse or bulb so I pulled into my normal mechanic to take a look for me. He says, nope, not a bulb, not a fuse probably the switch (evidently this is by the brake pedal) so he checks that too, no dice. Since I had my stereo

Sorry Punkin! I know all about car troubles. You should have seen the list of things wrong with my Mustang when I finally gave up on her. Unfortunately, brake lights are just one of those things you HAVE to have, even in Florida. Roofs, doors, air conditioning, operational stereo.... those are the luxuries.

Boy, can I sympathize with you on this one. The last time I had to have a tail light replaced it cost $95. Seems the whole light panel had gone bad. Lets just say that I was less than pleased. Hang in there. Things will even out. Honest ;-)
