Long and exhausting for me, hard to imagine how much more so for Lisa.

31 hours? What hospital was this? Liz was officially in labour for 12 hours before they brought her into theatre and apparently that's the longest Holles St will let it run. And if they'd tried to send me home I'd have killed someone.

Regardless: HUGE congrats to all three of you. He's a cute wee fella.

The Rotunda, she was in the delivery suite for 13 hours having been held on a ward previous to that, the baby's heart rate was dropping with contractions but showing quick recovery after each one, so there was no need to panic apparently.

Progress was being made, albeit slowly so they preferred to wait and see.

I did feel like looking for someone to have a fight with someone when I was sent home.
